Knowing me and my experience with ICT

All the info you need to know:

I'm Mira P. Milana. I was born on April 25, 2007, which makes me 16 right now. I'm the eldest of three kids. I crochet stuffed toys for fun or at times to sell, nap whenever I can, and watch and/or listen to a bunch of musical theatre. I'm not much of a tech kind of girl which leaves me at a huge disadvantage when it comes to these types of projects. I'm a history-type of girl who speaks non-stop about wars and historical events that I study.

Morong Video Project
My job was the easiest by far as all I had to do was search about the history, culture, and other fun information about Morong. I still helped my groupmates by giving out ideas we could bounce off of. Though there was a rough patch in between which really tore us off track, we were able to finish on time and pass our project.

Network Security and Netiquette'Till this day I could never say I was/am safe on the internet, though I have been more wary these months due to educating myself a bit more. I've downloaded and used websites and applications that I'm not even sure myself are safe. But of course, I hope they are, in some way.About netiquette, I have never been the type to comment about my thoughts on the internet, with the instances that I do, is usually mention my friends on random videos that remind me of them but other than that I have no bad experiences with it.

Digital DivideLet's start with what is "Digital Divide" ?, refers to the disparity in access to modern ICT between individuals. Showing how the gap deepens with the amount of people who lack the internet in their hands. These may be the result of low economic levels, geographical constraints, a lack of incentive to utilize technology, and digital illiteracy

ICT as a Platform for Change
ICT "Information and communication technology" as we know it has become a necessity these past few years with school and work. We now live in such a fast-paced world we have to always be prepared on the go or not. It has always been crazy that such small devices can give so much to us. ICT is not only the "devices" it's presented in. ICT is a tool that strives to make our lives easier, may it be through online banking, emails, etc. but also physically, ICT manages to build outside its own devices.
ICT has the power to make it or break it since not everyone has the resources in which they can access the internet. Though its availability is major, as local places such as malls usually carry out free internet, be weary of it. ICT while being useful is not as widespread as we hope, in the media yes it is, but outside the media, not so much. The idea now is to build up more from that in order to teach, to create with the tools necessary like ICT.
